Job Description

We are looking for a new colleague to the Cost & Construction Management section where we help our clients navigate through the various stages of the construction process.

AFRY Cost & Construction Management is market-leading in Sweden in cost estimation and financial management of projects – in civil engineering, construction, and installation. We carry out approximately 500 assignments annually that contribute to cost optimization and create predictability for our clients' finances.

We are now seeking a Project Engineer with experience from civil engineering and construction projects to the Cost & Construction Management department, located at one of our offices in Skåne. You will be an important part of our continued development and contribute to strengthening our market position.

In this role, you will among other things:

• Drive assignments in cost management and financial follow-up
• Conduct cost assessments in early stages and calculations in the design phase
• Support clients such as clients, investors, and contractors in well-founded decisions
• Work with cost- and risk-integrated design
• Work with project procurement, scheduling, and identify and manage risks and opportunities
• Contribute to the development of our methods and tools for sustainable financial management
• Participate in strategy and marketing work

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience in the civil engineering and construction industry who wants to take the next step in their personal development. You have likely worked as a project manager, site manager, construction engineer, or cost engineer – and have an interest in contributing to sustainable and cost-effective projects.

We would like you to have:

• Experience from the client, consulting, or contracting side
• Knowledge in estimating tools and quantity takeoff programs, e.g., BidCon, MAP, and Bluebeam
• Interest and understanding of sustainability and climate impact in the civil engineering and construction industry
• Good social skills and the ability to build long-term relationships
• Attention to detail and the ability to see both details and the big picture
• Ability to work both independently and in teams
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driving license B
